Asked often, answered plainly

The questions retailers, distributors, and shoppers bring us most. Anything else — ask directly and a person will answer.

Where are your products sourced from?

Directly from trusted manufacturers and brand owners in their home countries, across Africa, Europe, and Asia. We buy at origin rather than through export middlemen — that is how we keep products authentic, quality consistent, and supply dependable.

Are your products approved for sale in Canada?

Yes. Everything we distribute is imported in compliance with Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) requirements, with bilingual English–French labelling and Canadian nutrition facts formatting. Compliance documentation is available to retail partners on request.

Do you sell wholesale?

Wholesale is our core business. We supply grocery chains, independent supermarkets, convenience stores, and regional distributors. Contact us for the current line sheet, case packs, and wholesale terms — we send it the same day.

Where can I buy your products as a shopper?

Our products are sold through retail stores rather than directly from us. Availability varies by region as we grow our retail network. If your local grocer does not carry a product you want, tell them — retailer requests are genuinely how new products reach a shelf, and you can point them to this site.

Do you ship across Canada?

We deliver to retail and distribution partners across Canada, including temperature-controlled logistics for frozen and chilled lines. Lead times and freight terms depend on region and order size — they are set out in our wholesale terms.

Where is your office located?

145½ Church Street, Unit 5, Toronto, Ontario M5B 1Y4 — downtown Toronto. Meetings are by appointment; reach us at admin@diasporafoods.ca or +1 (519) 701-9038, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET.
